Frequently Asked Questions

How does the difficulty setting work?

The difficulty rating (1-5) determines how much time each subject gets in your timetable. Higher difficulty subjects receive more study time.

How many hours should I study per day?

During term time, 2-4 hours per weekday and 4-6 hours per weekend day is realistic. During exam leave, you can increase this to 6-8 hours per day.

Can I edit my timetable after generating it?

Yes! You can drag blocks between days and time slots, change the duration of each study session, and add breaks between blocks. Click 'Edit Settings' to change subjects or study hours.

What revision technique works best?

Active recall (testing yourself) and spaced repetition are proven most effective. Avoid passive re-reading. Practice past papers regularly.

How far in advance should I start revising?

Start 3-4 months before your exams. For GCSEs, begin in February. For A-Levels, start in March. Create a realistic timetable you can maintain.
